English Meeting Club (EMC) of SmaDa Polewali

English Meeting Club of SmaDa adalah sebuah organisasi berbahasa Inggris yang didirikan pertama kali pada tahun 2011 di SMAN 2 Polewali, Polman. Pada awalnya tujuan didirikannya Club ini karena untuk mempersiapkan diri para calon peserta lomba English Debating se-Kab. Polman.  Namun pada perkembangannya, club ini tumbuh menjadi sebuah club meeting general yang kegiatannya tidak hanya terpaku pada debat semata, melainkan aspek berbahasa inggris yang umumnya diajarkan disekolah. Pesertanya juga tidak hanya calon peserta Lomba yang dipersiapkan, melainkan dari seluruh siswa-siswi SMAN 2  Polewali yg ingin berpartisipasi.
Perjalanan Panjang diwarnai dengan timbul tenggelamnya keberadaan club ini. Banyak masalah bermunculan yg antara lain disebabkan oleh fungsi ganda oleh masing-masing pengurus yang notabenenya jg merupakan pengurus OSIS. Hasilnya, kegiatan club ini pernah mati suri. Namun, atas kegigihan dan loyalitas tinggi oleh pembimbing dan para pengurus, club ini mampu bertahan sampai saat ini. Program-program disusun sedemikian rupa untuk mencoba menghidupkan kembali club ini, diantaranya mengadakan regerasi pengurus dan outdoor activity. terbukti pada awalnya, organisasi ini mampu bangkit kembali. Dengan itu benar- benar  dibutuhkan pemimpin yg sungguh  berjiwa Bahasa Inggris sekaligus dapat mendedikasikan dirinya khusus buat EMC of SmaDa.
